Professor Ebrahim is a Scholar at C-IP2 and an Associate Professor at California Western School of Law. He is a Visiting Associate Professor at University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in Spring 2022, and was a Visiting Associate Professor at University of Iowa College of Law in Fall 2021.
His primary scholarship concerns patent law, business law, and law and technology. Professor Ebrahim’s research focuses on the intersection of business, law, and technology, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity and data privacy, and digital platforms. He is a Senior Cyber Law Researcher at William & Mary Law School with the Center for Legal & Court Technology (CLCT), a Fellow with the Center for Quantum Networks with the University of Arizona, an Ostrom Visiting Scholar at Indiana University (Bloomington), and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Nebraska (Lincoln) Governance and Technology Center (NGTC).Professor Ebrahim has been a Visiting Associate Professor at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a Visiting Research Fellow at Bournemouth University’s Centre for Intellectual Property Policy & Management (CIPPM) in England. He is a registered U.S. patent attorney and is Of Counsel at One LLP.
